Jacqueline Gahagan, PhD
Jacquie 
 is a Professor of Health Promotion at Dalhousie University. She has been involved in HIV/AIDS advocacy, activism and research for over two decades. Her current funded program of research focuses primarily on the gendered aspects of HIV/Hep C, STIs and sexual/reproductive health outcomes.  Jacquie focuses on policy and programming interventions using sex and gender-based analyses (SGBA+) to address health inequities faced among marginalized populations at high risk for poor health outcomes such as those living with or affected by HIV, HCV or other STBBIs, older LGBTQ+ populations and those involved in sex work.

Lois Jackson, PhD
Lois  is a Professor of Health Promotion at Dalhousie University. For over 20 years, she has conducted research with marginalized populations with a particular focus on people who use substances. Much of her work centres on access to health services and specifically, harm reduction services. Her work draws attention to specific challenges of access for those living outside of large urban centres. She has led a number of nationally-funded studies and has presented and published widely internationally, nationally and locally.
